The effects of Maglev on Hybrid PT would include greater speed, zero moving parts during normal operation, and improved ride comfort. A typical 3 hour routing would cover as many as 600 miles, providing an alternative for costly short-haul airline flights and substantially freeing up Air Traffic Control assets used for short flights.
